What goes into making a billboard? The process of billboard advertising includes a lot of moving parts. From the graphic designers to real estate representatives and our account executives, each person on our team has some involvement in your billboard process.

Determine Purpose and Audience:

As a company, you should be aware of your audience as well as any goals you have for growth. Billboards are a unique form of advertising regarding the various demographics that they cover. Being aware of the audience that your company reaches before purchasing a billboard will allow our team to assess the success of that billboard.

The Design Process:

After meeting with our team, our in-house designers will review your design proposal and goals for the billboard. Your business can request specific font, images, coloring, as well as the message for the billboard. From there, our team will start designing mock-ups to try and find the perfect design for the message your business wants to convey.

Review and Revise:

Once the mock-ups have been created, our team will send these designs over to your team. You will have the opportunity to revise or request changes from our designers to make sure that your vision is properly represented. Our design team will then make the necessary changes and your creative will be ready to move onto the next step in the process.

Install the Billboard:

After the permitting process is taken care of, the instillation process begins. First the site needs to be prepared, including clearing vegetation or obstacles that might obstruct the billboard’s view. Then the dimensions of the billboard will be checked so that they will directly line up with the creative. The vinyl will be unrolled onto a clean, flat surface and then will be positioned on the billboard frame. The vinyl will then be attached using one of the various mounting methods.

Maintain and Monitor:

Quality checks are a huge part of maintaining your billboard. Our installers will ensure to weatherproof the vinyl and regularly inspect the billboard to ensure it remains in good condition.

Did you know? After a billboard is taken down the vinyl can be used for various repurposed projects. From tarps to tote bags, your vision lives on far after your billboard was created.
